hiatuses and drops

hiatuses (and drops) There's two sorts of hiatus in Progress City. The first is your general "autopilot" kind of hiatus where your character is around and doing stuff, you're just not playing them. The second, however, is a mechanic unique to Progress City: your character can apply for a "experimental" ride through the dimensional transporters. You see, Bill is trying to fix them so you can all get home and he wants test subjects to try his new adjustments. Of course, fixing such delicate and advanced technology can come with a few downsides: your character will spend the duration of your hiatus in another dimension which the mods will RNG for you.
