the spell cards
As mentioned in the FAQ, recently people in Progress City have started to trade cards from a mysterious new game. It doesn't seem to have a name and people don't seem to agree on how to play it, so it might be something the Dreamfinder cooked up. Regardless, what has been discovered is that some people can utilize a selection of these cards to perform magic. The only cards that seem to work as of right now are the spell cards, but who knows what might happen in the future?

Basic Cards

Fire: This card deals a small amount fire damage to a single target.

Blizzard: This cards deals a small amount of ice damage to a single target.

Thunder: This cards deals a small amount of electric damage to a single target.

Cure: This cards will heal minimal damage from a single target.

Gravity: This card deals damage equal to 10% of the target's remaining health.

Stop: This card will stop time for one minute.

Wind: This card will throw an enemy ten feet away and deal a small amount of wind damage.

Weapon Summon: This card will allow the user to summon a basic weapon, such as a sword or an axe.

Flight: This card will allow the user to hover or float ten feet.

Specialized Cards

Mountain Blizzard: This card whips up a snowstorm on your target that lasts for as long as it's active.

Astro Blaster: This card summons a laser gun. You can set it to stun... or kill.

Dragon Cannon: This card launches an explosive attack in whatever direction you point it. It also makes nice fireworks, if you point it toward the sky.

Flying Frying Pan: This card summons a frying pan, a nice, blunt weapon that seems sturdier than most normal frying pans. You can even make it grow when you strike an enemy, or throw it like a boomerang.

Trident: This card summons a trident. It can be used as a mid-range weapon, or you can shoot lightning from the fork of the trident. Does more damage than the Thunder card, but can be more unpredictable.

Rock Titan Boulder Throw: This card will create large rocks which will be thrown at your target. Please be careful, whatever direction you're facing when you summon it will be the direction the rocks are thrown.

Fireball: This card is essentially a more powerful version of the Fire card. It will summon a large fireball that can be thrown at your target.

Mighty Thump: This card causes a small earthquake, centered around you.

Hair Whip: This card will heal any major wounds you might have, but there's a trade-off: it can only be used once a day.

Magic Arrow: This card summons a bow and arrow. Don't worry, the arrows magicall replenish themselves!

Pixie Dust: This card will cause the target to float for a period of up to an hour.

Force Field: This card will create an impenetrable force field around you and up to two other targets. Neither you or the other two targets can use any other cards while this card is in use.

Cowboy Lasso: This card summons a cowboy style whip. Live your cowboy dreams, buckeroo.

Genie Lamp: This card will produce a random card ability when used. Haven't you ever heard that you should be careful what you wish for?

Super Bark: This card will blow you enemies away with a super powerful bark! It's basically a more powerful version of the Wind card.

Magic Ribbon: This card will cause the target to immediately be constrained with unbreakable ribbon bonds.

Righteous Stomp: This card create a minor earthquake when used - it's a more powerful version of the Mighty Thump card. It has a 30% chance to create a fissue under the target.

Gloomy Cloud: This card summons a small thunderstorm over a target. It will last for fifteen minutes and deals continuous electrical damage.

Ice Blast: This card shoots an icy blast towards your target. Let your power flurry through the air into the ground, friend.

Ka-chow!: This card will dazzle your enemies with a powerful burst of light! It'll also stun them.

Magic Beans: This card magically grows a giant beanstalk from the ground when activated. It'll last for up to five hours.

Grand Entrance: This card allows the user to teleport to any location they've already visited in grand style. That is it say, they'll appear out of a flashy cloud of smoke.

Enchanting Sword: This card summons a sword that will cut any enemy down with one strike! Too bad it only works on monsters.

Housecleaning: Too tired to clean? Just use this card to organize any space instantly!

Dewdrop Spiderweb: When used, this card will cause the target to be caught in a sticky web. Be careful, though, because any weapons you use against said web will also be caught.

Sorcerer’s Hat: If used, this card will cause up to 10 nearby inanimate objects to come to life. They can be minimally controlled by whoever brought them to life, but keep your commands specific. Too much leeway, and you might find them turning against you.

Demolition Dynamite: This card will cause an explosive blast on a nearby target. Don't stand too close, though, or you might get caught in the blast!

Wild Ride: This card summons a old-fashioned car that can be used for up to an hour.

Colors of the Wind: This card allows the user to be Extra™ and summon a flurry of leaves and colors. It doesn't do anything else, it just looks cool.

Army of Frogs: Have you ever wanted to summon an army of frogs? Well, now you can.

Odorous Gas: What's that smell? Oh, it's the power of this card, which creates a foul stench that will stun your target. Just be careful it doesn't stun you too.

Hot Sauce: This card can be used to make your food taste amazing! It can also be used to burn the mouths of up to five nearby targets.

Bubble Attack: This card can encase people or objects in a bubble. The bubble won't burst until the card is deactivated, but it also can't be used in combination with other cards.

Pink Elephant Parade: Look out! Look out! Pink elephants will be on parade if you use this card. On the upside, it'll cause your enemies to act drunk. On the downside, if you touch any of the bubbles, you'll also be acting drunk.

Power Heaves: When this card is active, you gain super strength. However, it can't be used in combination with other cards.

Honeybees: Have you ever wanted to summon a hoarde of angry bees to kill your enemies? Great, now you can!

Happy Haunting Grounds: This card will cause you to turn into a ghost temporarily, which comes with all the ghostly powers. Mainly the ability to move through walls and being able to talk to the undead without risk of harm.

Costume Chaos: This card will allow your character to disguise yourself as another person (with permission from the other player, if you're disgusing yourself as another player character).
