you can take the space paladin out of space but you can't keep him away from the mountain. space mountain, that is. as a kid, he never indulged in outings to theme parks. it's all a foreign experience to him and it's wholly overwhelming even for someone who had been thrust into another life, another purpose in a matter of seconds. just because he followed an instinct.
with a set jaw and squared shoulders, he heads into the white domed building, lip curling into a half-smirk as he takes in the attempt at capturing outer space. this should be interesting. ]

[ well, whatever has brought him here, whatever is keeping him here, has at least offered an opportunity to pass the time. his first shift is loading people onto doom buggies. his initial thought was that the whole thing was kind of hokey, but there is something. kind of cool about the mansion.
he doesn't have the elevator spiel memorized just yet, but he'll get there.
we suspect he had been chosen for this position because of his general demeanor and it doesn't hurt that he looks kind of dapper in the green butler uniform. it's kind of stiff, though, and you'll probably find him waiting outside the mansion during a lull in the day, scratching beneath his collar.
the frown on his face is in character, sure, but he's not exactly happy about sticking around here when he could be tending to far more important matters far, far away from here. ]
