All abilities tied to a species physiology will be kept, as long as it's not because of a magical/supernatural reason! (for example, a character with wings can fly but superman can't)

However, it should be noted that characters cannot fly outside of Progress City to leave and will find themselves being pushed back if they fly out far enough.
